![]() ![]() Although the Zonai Shrines do give out Blessings of Light, they are not temples in truth. While there is a Temple of Time in Tears of the Kingdom, it is situated on the Great Sky Island tutorial area, which in retrospect feels like a blown-out dungeon. One could consider the final dungeon to be Ganondorf's own Darkness Temple and the collective Zonai Shrines as Rauru's Light Temple. Each temple has a corresponding Sage, and there is a partial fifth temple devoted to Mineru, the Sage of Spirit, consisting mostly of a lead-up in the sky and then in the Depths. The Wind Temple is found by the Rito, the Fire Temple is by the Gorons, and so on. Within Tears of the Kingdom, there are dungeons with various histories and unique names, but they are all united as being elementally themed temples. While these feature nonlinear progression similar to Breath of the Wild's Divine Beasts, they all have a bit more personality and even a dungeon item equivalent. Some of the high points in Tears of the Kingdom come when the open world is funneled into four dungeons themed around the elements of Hyrule's tribes. ![]() ![]() ![]() While DLC is on many fans' minds, it's not because Tears of the Kingdom is lacking in things to do, but rather just because of the precedent set by Breath of the Wild's own season pass. Compared to its predecessor Breath of the Wild, their shared Hyrule still feels fresh thanks to a breadth of new content, including sky islands and a whole underground map.
